From the very beginning, it was a crucial aspect of our mission to give back to the global communities from which we source our tea. The Circle is a global feminist organisation founded by musician and activist Annie Lennox in 2008 to fight for equal pay and equal rights for women in every country, to empower women to change their communities for the better, and to provide practical support to thousands of women and girls around the world facing abuse, exploitation, and injustice in their daily lives.
With the help of its growing network of supporters and grassroots partners around the globe, The Circle is working to build a world where women and girls can live free from violence, discrimination, and fear and receive equal access to the education, healthcare, and opportunities that they need to build the best possible lives for themselves.
